CHILDREN'S OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND ENRICHING SENSORY PLAY ACTIVITIES ACROSS NORTHERN IRELAND
As an Children's Occupational Therapist I use a range of play based approaches to maximise a child's engagement, achievement and independence in activities of daily living, including at home, in school, in play, in leisure and in self care.
I focus on the child's strengths in order to help them achieve their goals and thrive. I offer one to one occupational therapy consultancy for babies and children with additional needs in my clinic in Armagh. Following an initial consultation where the child is observed in play and various assessments and parent interviews are conducted I goal set alongside the parents and children to plan a fun and engaging programme to support their needs and help them to achieve their full potential!
